Will it sound better simply because it's burgundy sparkle?  I would say yes.  In fact, I would say that this one sounds better than any other burgundy sparkle snare you've ever heard.

What's that?  you've never heard another burgundy sparkle snare (in fact, you've probably never even seen another one)?

so therefore I can make the previous statements and feel safe that I'm not lying to you.   I defy you to show me the burgundy snare drum (has to be original wrap) that sounds better than this one.
