From Halifax, Nova Scotia, Joel is one of my biggest musical heroes.  This past summer, I was lucky enough that he was crazy enough to drive down here from Halifax and make his new album at our little studio.  The labum came out a few weeks ago on Maple Music in Canada and will probably never see the light of day in the US.  You can order it from Joel, though, or through Maple.  The album I made is called 'La De Da,' but all of his albums are great, so if you're inclined to dispose of a little more folding money, you should buy them all.

This record got nominated for several Junos (the Canadian grammy).  Stupid Arcade Fire won.  But, as they say, "it's an honor to have even been nominated," right?  I mean, how many Juno nominations do you have under your belt?
